One of our core competencies is the manufacturing of process isolators for pharmaceutical-aseptic production. SKAN US with about 40 employees currently and headquartered in Raleigh, NC, is providing services and spare parts to SKAN customer in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico.

This Field Service Technician / Field Service Engineer position requires an energetic person with strong technical knowledge and the desire to advance their skills across multiple service disciplines. Experience with GXP requirements in the Pharmaceutical Industry is desired. Travel to customer locations throughout North America, and to SKAN AG in Basel, Switzerland for periodic training will be required. The position is reporting to the SKAN US Field Service Supervisor.

Hard skills 40x40 Hard skills

  • Technician / Engineer in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, systems engineering, electronics control systems or similar, bachelor's degree in of these areas preferred
  • Experienced in execution of maintenances, requalification services and troubleshooting
  • Versed in setting up and following protocols and reports
  • Professional experience with cGMP and GAMP requirements in the Pharmaceutical Industry is an advantage
  • Experience with HEPA filter testing and calibration preferred
  • Field service experience with strong travel activity (nationally)
  • Valid Drivers license, passport
  • Safe handling of MS Office
  • Fluent English, German speaking skills are a plus
